Reindeer.

Playing the part of a comical reindeer for a series of TV ads.

This ad was for a Christmas scratch lottery and their logo was this reindeer. They wanted to bring the character to life. Very hot in the costume and luckily I did not have to move too much.

The build was a basic foam suit with fur covering. The head was sculpted in clay and a light fibreglass copy made. This was then flocked and painted to match the costume.

My eyes were at his nose level so I could not see, so we built in a little TV monitor that showed me what the camera saw. The eyes were radio controlled.
